Disney Princess Silhouettes
written by Natasha Goellner
I already have a pale pink dining room, which was perfect, but the art work in that room just didn’t work. For the party, I replaced them with Disney Princess silhouettes, which I made the night before. I waited until the last moment because I didn’t want her to see them before the reveal.
Supplies:
Here’s what you’ll need:
- White paper
- Colored construction paper—your choice of color
projector - Disney princess silhouettes—you can find them on stock photo
- Empty picture frame
- Scotch tape
- Scissors
- Glue stick
- Spray paint (optional)
- Embellishments (optional): Ribbon, bows, butterflies, birds, snowflakes, etc.
Instructions:
- Cut the white paper to fit the frame.
- Trace the silhouette, using the projector, onto the colored construction paper.
- Cut out the image and glue it to the white paper.
- If you don’t like the color of the frame, spray it with the color of your choice. I used gold metallic spray paint.
- Tape the silhouette onto the back of the frame.
Hang it on your wall - Add embellishments if you want to , and you’re done!
